Patricia Burke MTI developed a project that provided training and qualification procedures for personnel responsible for making up flanged joints in pressure vessels and piping based on ASME PCC1. In addition to the written procedures, a prototype test rig was designed that enabled hands-on training and qualification testing of personnel.
